FROGHOLE FARM DEVELOPMENT

The promoter of site MX49 (Froghole Farm) has commissioned a local housing needs survey of Chevening Parish. Sevenoaks District Council's Strategic Planning service (Planning Policy and Housing Policy teams) have provided guidance on the wording of the survey and they are continuing to work with the site promoter. The survey is being carried out by the independent Rural Housing Enabler, Tessa O'Sullivan. Tessa undertakes all parish needs surveys within the District and across Kent, and is highly experienced in this field. Survey forms will be delivered to all homes in the Parish over the next couple of days with a return deadline of 1/10/18. The results will be fed into the evidence base that the site promoter is drawing together to demonstrate their exceptional circumstances case.

Sevenoaks District Council state they would have preferred to have worked in partnership with Chevening Parish Council and jointly agreed the commission of a survey, but unfortunately time constraints have not made this possible. The Parish Council has not therefore had any input into the questionnaire and will see it for the first time when it is delivered through the door.
