An update on the Chevening Parkland Scheme from the Managing Agents

I hope that you are well and are able to enjoy this recent weather.
You will have seen that there is increased activity in Phase 1 of the landscaping scheme with more regular loads of material being delivered. This means that the land build up is up to a level to enable the formal access to be created off Sundridge Road and for the site crossing point below the Turvins Farm cottages.
As a result, and to satisfy the Section 278 processes, Rural Arisings have submitted their roadworks plan to KCC for their approval with the desire to undertake the works in the second and third week of August. These works will need traffic light restrictions for their duration and at least one overnight closure. Specific dates will be down to the speed of KCC’s response and as soon as I have those I will inform you accordingly.
