Proposal to move the 20 mph limit in Chipstead Lane
The 20 mph zone on Chipstead Lane currently starts at the junction with Witches Lane/Bullfinch Lane. The long straight stretch of road on Chipstead Lane reportedly sees very few drivers adhering to 20 mph (it is questionable how many adhere to 30). The Parish Council is proposing moving the start of the 20 mph zone so that it would start at the "pinch point" by the George and Dragon rather than at its current location.
